Eyeborg

At first I thought this was some kind of spoof. These dude’s are uber geek, especially Steve Man also known as cyber man, this guy has been wearing video enabled computer’s on his body since the late 80′s. He’s surely an ambassador for youtube. This video does contain some gore.

Micro video posts

Seesmic, has been dubbed the Twitter of video. The posts enable you to interact with your friends in a totally different way with video conversation. With more screens and laptops being distributed with built-in cameras you’ll be sure to see more personal video footage. With the web becoming more real-time, thanks to Twitter, Friendfeed and Seesmic there’s a new web that enables you to interact on a permanent and instant basis with your friends. May only issue with Seesmic as it looks a little under designed it is however early days.

Livescribe pen

For a journalist this pen delivers, it has the ability to record your stokes using a special paper and has the option to record your audio. The pen has 1 and 2gb storage which can be easily transferred using a USB. The pen also runs on a Java platform with a number of developers signed up already to build new apps. Visit the site here

Nice Car

Really nice example of video integration. The ability to add different camera angles and then switch between those angle to change sound. Simple yet effective. I had seven splits at one time. Link here

It reminds me of Rendezvous.

An interactive exhibit from All Of Us

Looks very scientific containing radars, interactive sculptures and the measurement of distance. More here

Toy blocks that think

These are small interfaces that are designed to work with how our brain and body does. A logical interface to digital and user interaction. Looking forward to it’s development. I would like to see these block/cookies integrate with a display.

Fractal 4D

I’m seeing more ad more Air apps which is great. Still very found and use regularly Kuler. I enjoy apps that work and integrate with other programs I’m using. Came across this app Fractal 4D , enables you to draw really detailed fractal swirls which can then be exported as a vector for use in Adobe Illustrator or as a plain PNG. The app has a load of options that allow you to tweak the colours, blending, easing and blurring.

If only…

My ride normally involves ripping off Range Rover wing mirrors, racing Brompton’s and arriving into work with a sweat on. The short film was commissioned by Hutchinson tires and directed by Daniel Leeb of Cinecycle Productions. Love the cinematography, simple storyline and *Colin*.
