Welcome to the jungle

With all this good weather we are having and what looks like more to come, I can’t help finding myself looking out at my mini jungle thinking wouldn’t this be a great bit of summer space. I can almost smell the BBQ and hear the clinking of ‘Cheers’. It needs landscaping urgently! Arrhh.

Finds and DIY

Moving and settling back into London is never easy and for me has felt longer then two months! Hence lack of blogging, ekk, I blame Thailand and a long Christmas for that.

What helped the move where a number of finds:
- A Ground floor flat in Stamford Hill with a generous garden
- Antique furniture at low prices
- Work, to pay for the low priced antique furniture and Stamford Hill flat
- A new local serving great food

What follows with moving… DIY, more DIY and restoration to the low priced antique furniture I’d brought. Below is a picture of Chalotte’s Dad teaching me the ways of carpentry, restoration and freezing my little nipples off. More finds to follow

A coincidental week of 90's nostalgia

A coincidental week of 90′s nostalgia which started with How not to run a night club by Peter Hook. Whilst reading the book I thought I’d soundcloud Graeme Park, and there he was. Fantastic I thought, some new (but old) music to listen to. Whilst Reading and listening I then receive a my weekly podcast from Resident Advisor, a two part vintage mixtape from ’93 by Scott Grooves.
