Exciting stuff from both parties that being Google Chrome and ExtensionFM which completely changes how users listen and more importantly discover new music.
Complexity in UX
An interesting article over at UX Magazine. They discuss Complexity vs Simplicity in design. They summaries the article nicely with “experience should be the result of using UX design to find what is meaningful to that end user and present it in the best way possible”.
Stripping out the complexity to create simple designs is often a designers first thought, but it’s the balance of both needs which create clear and meaningful experiences.

What motivates us?
An interesting animation which illustrates the hidden truths behind what really motivates us at home and in the workplace. If you go to about 5 minutes in the video they talk about how people are motivated.
The use off humor through illustrations a is a great way to keep the user fully engaged with this 10 minute piece.
